Lately we have heard horible
news about the FLU virus
Of course there is no good new about it ever
unless its not flu season.
However this year seems to be at its worst.
We saw there was a huge jump of cases from last year
something like 46 cases this time last year
to 457 cases this year.
Because of Sofies egg allergy she can't just get a shot
she always has to get a scratch test before her shot
I almost thought she may not be able to get one this year
because her egg test came back bigger than last year.
But after some convincing and smooth talking by our
most favorite nurse, Kiki
She got her scratch test done and came back negative.
She has always had this fear of gloves
of course it symbolizes, doctors and pain.
But she has come to ask for her own pair.
Fear is almost gone
even Batman came along
She requested two shirts so we had to do the shot in her leg.
All in all it wasn't that bad
she cried of course
but quickly recovered hopefully next year it will be even better.
While we were there our Dr. came in and said
this year the Flu Virus is bad
already claimed 47 lives just children
and even the shot is only 50-60% effective.
But none-the-less better to get one than not.
So be careful out there
Wash your hands
Cover your mouth
and eat healthy!
