We went to Safeway and like always I drag my camera along
just in case
and of course to capture my photo of the day.
Went inside Safeway
Juan walks around with Sofie
and I grab groceries.
We check out, like normal.
About to leave and Sofie wants to look at the reindeer, okay.
I will go with Sofie to look at Reindeer and Juan will unload the cart.
We split.
Sofie and I come out of the store seconds later
Juan empties the cart into the car
However he picks up what looks like the last grocery bag and my Mommy bag
and gets in the car.
We drive to get coffee and home.
Put away groceries, watch some t.v., put Sofie to bed, Juan goes to sleep
I start some photo editing of todays fun shoot
Go to edit Sofies photo of the day and well.......
Light bulb,
"where is my camera?"
Not in its parking space,
not in the bag,
not in the car......
*panic*
wake up Juan at 3AM
"did you bring in my camera?"
Juan: "from where?"
DAMN!
It snuck behind the bags and under the seat of the cart.
Store is closed
Opens at 5AM.
Its okay, someone collected the carts and its inside the store
just have to wait 2 hours before I can call anyone.
Woke up just now 6:35AM
Called
"Sorry Ma'am, nothing at Customer Service or the office."
Whoa! Never thought I would feel so attached to my camera.
However it was my tool, my way to express my everyday.......damn.
Its gone.
Back-up camera was sold last year, because I "never" needed it.
Guess never finally came and well
its. gone.
*Let this be a lesson, get Insurance!
